Sweeping and winter operations with CityCat V20 series and Bucher Winter technology
Following the CityCat V20 series's successful launch in mid-2020, we are proud to announce the next evolution of the CityCat V20 series. The CityCat V20 & CityCat V20e with the option to convert the sweeper into a winter maintenance vehicle. In doing so, the chosen path of the platform design will be consistently implemented. This applies to both the mechanical integration and, in particular, the integration of the control system. We achieve this by consistently integrating all our Bucher Municipal products and solutions.
All-year round use
With a globally unique all-electric combination, namely the new CityCat V20e sweeper and the Bucher Husky L14e brine sprayer, we address municipalities and service providers with the highest environmental standards. This enables you to operate low-noise and completely emission-free municipal operations around the clock – with high vehicle utilization and exceptionally economical.
The CityCat V20 with Euro 6d engine and 4x4 offers an even more robust solution for tough winter use. In combination with the Bucher Husky V10 spreader and optional front attachment such as snowplow or snow roller brush, the vehicle masters every challenge from heavy snowfall to uphill snow clearing - the perfect solution for modern urban winter maintenance.
Winter Configuration
Fully integrated control system
The control system is completely integrated into the sweeper's operation, eliminating the need for additional screens and control units in the cab. All attachments such as the sweep-system, plow, or sprayer controlled via the Smart-Con control unit combined with the CSense touch display.
For the driver, this means a tidy workplace and no need to get used to switching between the different applications, thus ensuring more efficient and easier operation of the vehicle.
Husky V10
The CityCat V20 finds its perfect complement for winter maintenance combined with a salt spreader from the Husky series. The Husky V10 with 1 m3 hopper volume and auger conveyor is characterized by excellent quality and the use of components that have been tried and tested for many years. A low center of gravity and a range of options, such as an additional brine tank, perfectly match the spreader to the application with the carrier vehicle.
Husky L14 / L14e
In addition to its application-related advantages, the Husky series's brine sprayer is distinguished above all by the first fully electric spreader from Bucher Municipal. Combined with the all-electric CityCat V20e sweeper, the complete package ensures an emission-free, sustainable and economic future. Innovation meets proven know-how. The Husky L14e offers a 1.4 m3 liquid tank, a battery buffer system, and state-of-the-art brine application technology, making winter maintenance a breeze.
Polyx snowplow
Combine the CityCat V20 with a Polyx snowplow to complete your winter maintenance package. The Polyx S16 with a clearing width (32°)of 1400 mm, the neoprene scraping edge, and polyethylene blade is perfect for the four-wheel-drive carrier vehicle. For even more efficient winter maintenance, the plow can be optionally combined with the MBS brine injection system, which applies brine to the ground via nozzles integrated into the blade.
Unix snowplow
The revolutionary universal variable geometry snowplows of the Unix series are optimally suited for clearing on cobblestones and aggressive snow removal thanks to their double scraper blade system. Due to the different clearing positions (Y-position, wedge position, diagonal position) and swivel angles from -40° to +32°, the system can be optimally adapted to the most diverse operating conditions and thus offers the most flexible extension for your CityCat V20.
