Our customers’ safety and comfort are our top priority. We have patented a fail-safe steering system designed to provide maximum reliability and driving comfort.

The transmission of force between the steering wheel and the steering axle is purely hydraulic, eliminating any undesirable mechanical linkages. This allows the system to be used seamlessly on both left- and right-hand drive vehicles. Steering forces remain low, reducing driver fatigue and enhancing overall comfort.

Unlike conventional solutions, the system operates completely passively, making it exceptionally robust. Even in the event of a serious malfunction, such as a burst hose, the vehicle remains fully steerable, ensuring the safety of both driver and other road users. Visual and audible alerts notify the driver, who can safely manoeuvre the machine out of the hazard zone-even at maximum speed.

Thanks to an intelligently arranged, stress-free steering linkage, the system is remarkably compact. It can be integrated into narrow vehicles, such as compact sweepers, without compromising the steering angle or manoeuvrability. The system is fitted as standard on the Bucher CityCat VR50 80 km/h version and is homologated in accordance with N2 regulations.
