The cab design of the C401 achieves space, widescreen visibility, ease of use and comfort, from a range of standard and optional benefits. The Visual Module displays on a screen, giving information on sweeper functions.

An innovative torque management system ensures the most efficient use of engine power, significantly reducing fuel consumption and sweeper emissions.

The palm-rest control panel enables operators to control the sweeping functions of the machine from a single large buttoned keypad, which is easy to operate, even in gloves.

Heavy-duty suction power and payloads of up to 5,000kg with 10,5000kg GVM (and 2,000kg with 7,500kg GVM with options) are combined with a patented 4-wheel steer system as standard, to provide capacity and agility without compromise.
Comfortable in heavy-duty cleansing environments and crowded streets, the C401 easily cleans the inner-city environment.

The compact outer dimensions, as well as the four-wheel steering that can be turned on and off, give the vehicle maximum maneuverability and ensure perfect directional stability and safety for everyday work.
The compact 5 m³ C401 is also available in an 50 mph version, so transfers and cleaning operations are even possible on motorways.

Low-emission engine and high-efficiency drive system

The C401 is purpose-designed and built as a compact road sweeper, and along with the latest Euro 6 engine, it effectively regulates the power required and automatically adjusts the engine revs to match the demand, reducing fuel costs and lowering emissions.

Excellent coverage

The front-facing brushes can access hard-to-reach areas and the fingertip control, with unrivaled visibility of the brushes and the nozzle, makes the sweeping maneuverability comparable to much smaller sweepers.
The unique low-level twin front brush is designed to effortlessly sweep inside corners and hammerheads.

The two front brushes have the widest reach of all 4 cubic sweepers, allowing the C401 brush arm to stretch out from the optimum 2650mm sweeping width, to reach debris 815mm outside of the compact chassis.

With the independently adjustable brush pressure and variable brush speed (which is standard), the C401 can reduce brush wear on a daily sweep, or allow for a deep clean in areas of heavy compacted material.

High-capacity clean water volume

A capacity of 825 litres of clean water ensures long service times. An extra 1180 litre water tank can be installed to maximise operating time. The service water recovery option ensures a higher fresh water coverage and less service water swept up.

Same volume, different dumping hight

The C401 has a hopper capacity of 5.6m3 and a payload of 5000 kg.
Raising the hopper with the option of the high dump feature allows the debris to be tipped into large containers, skips or directly into refuse collection vehicles.

This dramatically increases efficiency. The hopper volume remains the same and does not become smaller. The hopper is available in different stainless steel materials for individual corrosion resistance.

Product variations

C401 with
supawash system

High-pressure water system (30 l/min @ 100bar), with hand lance and 15m hose reel. Excellent for cleaning street furniture and signs and cleaning the vehicle at the end of a shift or day’s work.

C401 with
overhead boom

Two booms are mounted on the hopper with a reel and a hand lance that are connected to the high-pressure water system of the C401. These are useful for flushing rubbish from the sides of the street directly in front of the sweeper to significantly increase the working width and efficiency.
